How to Find Photo Size to Upload to Text on Iphone 5s

For some reason I've lost the capability to, for instance, take a photograph with my iPhone 5S, then transport it as a text message to my email address. I have "Peter email" in my Contacts, with peter@example.com in the contact, and was able to sent a picture to the email accost. Now it merely comes right back to the phone. I should point out that I do non have my Outlook email integrated with the iPhone; I didn't earlier I lost the ability to text to the email account, either.

    Thanks,
    Peter

Is peter@example.com attached to your iMessage account?

If so, try turning information technology off or else send the motion-picture show via "text message" to an alternative electronic mail address.

    It works.

Are you maxim that you are or could send an unabridged text to e-mail to yourself which is Not possible. At present if are trying to send a an image or photograph within the text message of course yous can practise that past tapping the pic and on the bottom right hand side there is a modest box with an arrow that by selecting will requite y'all a number of options and email being one of them. It only attaches the pic but that's all, Non the unabridged bulletin. I hope this is what you lot mean?

Taz I am sure you already know this simply in the iMessage if someone sent you a pic and you lot wanted to share information technology with someone by email you lot need to merely tap the pic and when it opens total size tap the niggling box with arrow on the lesser left which volition requite you choices and email being one, No different than before, Just a dissimilar way to get there with iOS 7.

Yup, if that email is associated to iMessage then information technology but assumes you lot want to send information technology as an iMessage. It needs to be disabled in order for it to piece of work. Have seen this happen several times now.

In order to send an Email to an Email address for contacts that are in your contact list that take a Apple ID (including yourself), you must turn off iMessage (Settings\Messages\iMessage (toggle to off). Make sure MMS(SMS) Messaging is on (after the recent Os update, my wife's MMS switched to off). iMessage is non needed for sending texts from mobile phones.

Is this standard? This seems kind of broken. Often times people send me links to my phone that really aren't useful to look at on my phone, and so I'd like to forward them from my messaging inbox to my home email (which happens to exist the email account I have linked to iTunes / iMessage) so I can look at them subsequently. Notwithstanding, since my home electronic mail account is my iMessage business relationship, when I try and forwards the message, the sending bar shows upwards, so it says delivered, merely no message appears in my email. If I touch and hold on the bulletin, I accept an option between 'Copy' and 'More' that says 'Ship to Email Address' which does work, but is adequately annoying. I used to be able to text notes / reminders to my email all the time, but now it doesn't seem to work.

Whatever way to disconnect that e-mail without losing iMessage capability?

Are you forwarding them to yourself from the iMessage app?

Yes. Either forwarding, or just creating a new message, I would similar to exist able to get through iMessage and send things to my Gmail business relationship (which is the business relationship I have as my primary iTunes / iMessage accounts). I don't have that Gmail business relationship used in whatever send/recieve, so I'thou pretty sure the messages are going no where.

If I send a message to my old Yahoo or work email, they both work fine. I've tried removing my Gmail from my contact info and just typing it in manually, but that doesn't practise it.
